We have had a fun week this week. We continued to learn about different toys, teddy bear, doll, ball, bird and cat. Please review this vocabulary with your children. We also spent time playing with some hamsters and learning how to take care of pets. As most students are able to recite and recognize numbers from 1-10, I am beginning to teach them numbers 11-20. I hope by the end of this semester the students will be able to use these numbers comfortably.
As you may or may not know, Tuesday the 17th of March is St Patrick’s Day, a day to celebrate Ireland and all things green, we will do some special activities for this festival. It would be great if on that day the babies could come to school wearing some green clothes.
Well done to everyone who completed their name writing sheet! Excellent! J I did notice that some parents helped their child complete the homework. If you think the homework is too difficult for you child, or they don’t have enough time to finish it, don’t worry. The most important thing is that the babies try to do the homework by themselves, so they can get used to holding a pen. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Lets work together so that the babies can write their names by the end of the year!
Thanks for you co-operation, have a great weekend!
